I always find them so morbidly fascinating and I used to photograph these in rural Illinois when I lived in Chicago. ![]() I mostly focus on rural abandoned places that include abandoned towns, abandoned churces, houses, etc. I’ve since then been to a few ghost towns in the Kansas area and I’m planning to post a few pictures of the decay that I was able to find very soon on their forums. Zombie Road - Lawler Ford Road Wildwood, Missouri 5 miles from Eureka, MO This road goes through two miles of woods, and comes to a dead end at what used to be a rock quarry. Located near Strong, Arkansas in Union County, all that remains of Bolding are scattered farms and homes on pleasant country roads. ![]()
